1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour

Job Description

Our warehouse operations ensure that products are properly received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base to enjoy. We are looking for hardworking individuals to join our team in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Thorough training and a comprehensive safety program provide the skills our associates need to be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders received from stores.
  • Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipments from trucks/back-hauls.
  • Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
  • Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
  • Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
  • Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures and operate equipment according to safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Frequently required to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
  • Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
  • Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
