Job Description
We are seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's team. This full-time role offers an average of 30-35 hours per week and has a starting wage of up to $24.00/hour with shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st shift starts at 7:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise for shipment, and unload incoming shipment from trucks/back-hauls.
- Perform general cleaning duties to meet warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to the warehouse management to improve processes.
- Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Act and decide independently within the delegated area of responsibility.
- Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
- Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
- Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
- Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
- Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
- Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments.
- Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
