Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Class A Tanker Driver to join our team at Wright Media. As a Class A Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting liquids or gases in tanker trucks. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport liquids or gases in tanker trucks.
• Strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date driving logs and reports.
• Inspect equipment for mechanical or safety issues before and after trips.
• Report any incidents or accidents to the dispatcher and comply with reporting procedures.

Driver Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement in your state of residence.
• Hazmat endorsement is required in some locations.
• Minimum of six (6) months verifiable experience driving a minimum of five (5) axle diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination unit.
• Stable work history.
• Minimum age of 21.
• No DWI or DUI convictions in the previous seven (7) years.
• No more than three (3) traffic citations, or a combination of one (1) highway "at fault" accident or two (2) citations within the last two years.
• Professionalism in appearance and performance.
