Job Description
The Engineer, Level 1, at Hampton Inn Chandler, is responsible for maintaining the property in optimal condition to ensure minimal inconvenience to customers and employees. If you are detail-oriented and skilled in various repair and maintenance tasks, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and test cooling towers.
- Replace televisions, light fixtures, furniture, pumps, and perform plumbing repairs.
- Read blueprints, troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, and maintain records of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Test, clean, and repair swimming pools, paint designated areas, and repair wall coverings.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with at least one year of experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Trade school or College course work in a related field is helpful.
- Ability to effectively communicate and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.
- Must have a customer-oriented approach and maintain high standards of personal appearance.
