Job Description
The Engineer, Level 1, at La Quinta Denver - Southwest/Lakewood is responsible for ensuring the property is maintained in optimal condition with minimal inconvenience to customers and employees. Duties include repairing and maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and handling plumbing and electrical repairs.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to the air conditioning system.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Replace televisions, light switches, and plumbing fixtures.
- Understand and read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
- Test, clean, and repair swimming pools and spas.
- Perform painting, wall repairs, and more.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with hotel or related field experience.
- Trade school or college coursework is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy weights and communicate effectively.
- Must be dependable, well-groomed, and have problem-solving skills.
- Flexible work hours and multitasking abilities required.
