Job Description
SCA Pharmaceuticals, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing daily compounding activities in the cleanroom, working closely with compounding technicians, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in medication preparation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise compounding, labeling, and daily pharmacy operations.
- Complete accurate logs of controlled substances and compounding records.
- Perform pre-and-post compounding operational checks.
- Assist in deviation investigations and batch reviews.
- Ensure compounding is in accordance with Standard Operation Procedures.
- Maintain real-time inventory of pharmacy finished products.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Active Pharmacist License in home state (AR and CT).
- 2+ years of experience in sterile compounding preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to supervise compounding in a clean room environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with sterile equipment.
