Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient histories.
• Provide patient care in a safe environment, respecting patients' needs and dignity.
• Act as a liaison between administration, patients, and healthcare providers.
• Administer medications correctly and monitor patients' condition.
• Assess and reassess patients' pain and provide appropriate management.
• Interpret cardiac monitoring results and treat dysrhythmias.
• Assist physicians with procedures and provide post-anesthesia care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing, Required
• Bachelors Degree, Preferred
• Current Mississippi Registered Nurse license or Compact State Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Handle With Care Behavior Management System (HWC) Certifications.
• Critical thinking, judgment, and the ability to work in a stressful environment.
