Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Software Manager to lead Support Equipment (SE) software engineering teams in designing, developing, integrating, and testing software products used across various platforms. Responsibilities
- Manage personnel resources for a fully staffed and trained team
- Drive technical planning and execution, including Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Provide guidance on Software Engineering Design Practices and initiatives
- Ensure continuous improvement to meet planned targets
- Interface with customers for program support
- Support engineering reviews and process
- Perform RFP review and software estimating tasks
- Conduct employee performance management and career development
- Coordinate with other engineering teams for software release and distribution
Requirements
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a software leadership position
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and management
