Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Software Manager to lead Support Equipment (SE) software engineering teams in designing, developing, integrating, and testing software products used across various platforms. Responsibilities

  • Manage personnel resources for a fully staffed and trained team
  • Drive technical planning and execution, including Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Provide guidance on Software Engineering Design Practices and initiatives
  • Ensure continuous improvement to meet planned targets
  • Interface with customers for program support
  • Support engineering reviews and process
  • Perform RFP review and software estimating tasks
  • Conduct employee performance management and career development
  • Coordinate with other engineering teams for software release and distribution

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a software leadership position
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and management
