Job Description
At Aldi, we are seeking a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the proper preparation and loading of shipments for delivery.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
- Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments from trucks.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
- Maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements through general cleaning duties.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Give input to warehouse management regarding process improvements.
- Inspect products and consult with warehouse management regarding quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
- Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy procedures.
- Follow ergonomic program and equipment operating safety guidelines.
- Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at Aldi.
- Demonstrate concern for quality, product integrity, and safety of one’s own and others' work and impact on the stores.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
- Move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare products for store deliveries.
- Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments.
- Safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
