1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, strategically organizing merchandise, and participating in warehouse inventory counts. You will also play a key role in maintaining warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements, cooperating with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to warehouse management and inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently within company policy and procedures.
• Follow the ergonomic program and operate equipment according to safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to perform within ALDI Acts competencies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
• Frequently move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, including outdoor and refrigerator/freezer environments.
