1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to ensure warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently according to guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for accurate and efficient task completion.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
