Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues, and report to warehouse management.
- Assist in achieving budgeted goals and perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Follow safety guidelines and notify management of any concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
ALDI Acts Competencies: Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
Job-specific Competencies: Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, basic arithmetic knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and work in varying temperatures.
