Job Description

Our warehouse operations ensure that products are properly received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing number of customers. Our part-time warehouse associates work an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and are vital members of our hardworking and dedicated warehouse teams. The position offers a starting wage of $21.00 per hour and includes comprehensive training and safety programs to ensure the success of our associates.

Responsibilities

  • Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders received from stores.
  • Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipments from trucks/backhauls.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
  • Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
  • Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
  • Provide input to warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
  • Inspect products, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
  • Act and decide independently within the delegated area of responsibility.
  • Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
  • Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
  • Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
  • Operate equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.
  • Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are 18 years of age or older and demonstrate the following competencies: Conscientiousness, Collaboration, Positive Attitude and Resilience, and Drive for Success. Additionally, they should be able to interpret and apply company policies and procedures, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Preferred education is a high school diploma or equivalent. The physical requirements include frequently lifting and placing products weighing up to 45 pounds, as well as operating powered industrial equipment.
