Warehouse Associate Job Description

Join our team as a 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate at Aldi, where you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores. This role offers an opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas within our warehouse facilities.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers and warehouse leadership for improved processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Contribute to achieving warehouse goals and budget targets.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Proficiency in operating powered industrial equipment.
