1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our growing team at ALDI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our warehouse associates work less than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. A comprehensive training program ensures you have the skills to succeed in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise with precision for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness to meet safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and help achieve operational goals.
• Inspect products for quality and report any issues to management.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaborates effectively with the team.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drives for success.
• Efficiently organizes and executes tasks in line with company standards.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, good communication skills, attention to detail, and team player.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Handle merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and operate equipment.
• Work in various temperatures, including outdoor and cold environments.
