1st Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join Aldi. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Establish and modify daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs.
• Coordinate and supervise activities of warehouse personnel, including receiving, selection, shipping, and storage.
• Monitor processes to ensure compliance with guidelines and develop action plans for improvement.
• Communicate job responsibilities, expectations, and company values to team members.
• Collaborate with other operational areas and communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
• Train, develop, and evaluate warehouse personnel to maximize performance and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage controllable expenses and make adjustments as necessary.
• Create a safe work environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and ALDI policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Physical ability to handle varying temperatures and lift up to 45 pounds.
