1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The position offers competitive starting wages of up to $18.00 - $24.00 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, relocating merchandise, loading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with the team to achieve warehouse goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect and report on product quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, drive for success, and efficient organization.
• Possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
