1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $23.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, product integrity, safety, and collaboration.
• Adapt positively to pressure, setbacks, challenges, and change to achieve peak effectiveness.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Work independently and within a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, and in outdoor and refrigerator/freezer environments.
