Starting Wage: $21.00 per hour

Job Description

Our warehouse operations ensure that products are properly received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our ever-growing number of customers to enjoy. Our warehouse employees work less than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Thorough training and a safety program provide the skills our associates need to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipment from trucks/back-hauls.
• Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
• Provide input to the warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
• Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Act and make decisions independently within the delegated area of responsibility.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
• Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines in the performance of essential job functions.
• Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare products for store deliveries.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, and ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
