1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler
Job Type: Full-Time
Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour
Job Description
As a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise to fulfill store orders. Additionally, you will participate in inventory counts, maintain warehouse appearance standards, and collaborate with warehouse leadership to improve processes and achieve budgeted goals.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
- Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
- Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
- Move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
- Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
