1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a competitive starting wage ranging from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on shift and schedule differential pay.
As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling merchandise, organizing stock, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory counts. Additionally, you will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure effective communication and the smooth operation of warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per product handling guidelines.
• Strategically sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback on process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and follow sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle products up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
