1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week, starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour. The role involves various schedules such as A1, A2, B, C, and D, requiring different workdays with corresponding time off. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and inventory counts.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle incoming stock and fulfill store orders.
• Organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Recommend process improvements to management.
• Operate in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Detail-oriented, follows instructions, and works well in teams.

Education and Experience:

Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
