1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage of up to $21.00 - $25.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with the team to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
