1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the ALDI team. Our warehouse operations ensure products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. As part of our team, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving thorough training and safety programs.

Position Type

• Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Load and prepare merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and warehouse maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety adherence.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
