1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, enabling our customers to enjoy a seamless shopping experience. This part-time position offers competitive starting wages at $23.75 per hour, with an average of fewer than 30 hours worked per week.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Handle merchandise efficiently according to guidelines.
• Prepare and load merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect and report product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Act independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgetary goals and follow company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
