1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our customers. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for tasks such as stock selection, merchandise relocation, loading, unloading, inventory management, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and within company guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Perform various physical tasks in different temperature environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
