1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will play a vital role in receiving, relocating, sorting, and loading merchandise in our warehouse, ensuring efficient order fulfillment for our stores. The position offers a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour, with various scheduling options available.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock effectively.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Ability to collaborate, show a positive attitude, and drive for success.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, and lift throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
