1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking to hire a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for fulfilling store orders, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers and leadership.
• Inspect product quality and provide input for process improvements.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Handle warehouse stock and prepare products for delivery.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
