1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operations of our warehouse. As a package handler, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receive and select incoming stock, prepare merchandise for shipment, and maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to deliver quality products efficiently to our stores.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unloading.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in applying company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical requirements.
