Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler. As an integral part of our warehouse team, you will play a key role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring the efficient fulfillment of store orders. You'll also be responsible for on-going communication with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership, striving to uphold safety standards and effective warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
