1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders received from stores, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse standards and safety requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, and operating industrial equipment.
