Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock effectively to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to meet safety standards.
• Assist in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 45 pounds.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic abilities and attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the warehouse.
• Operating powered industrial equipment safely.
• Working in various temperatures and environments.
