1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of the warehouse operation, you will play a key role in efficiently fulfilling orders from stores, maintaining warehouse appearance and safety, and cooperating effectively with peers and leadership. You will be responsible for loading and unloading merchandise strategically, relocating products within the warehouse, and participating in inventory counts. In addition, you will have the opportunity to give input for process improvement and aid in achieving budgeted goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership
• Provide input for process improvement
• Inspect product and consult with warehouse management regarding quality and safety concerns

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment
