1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will work 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. We have openings for Schedule D and Schedule B.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and leadership for effective warehouse operations.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical tasks within the warehouse.
