1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with the team to ensure effective warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
