1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Our 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler position at Aldi involves receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. This part-time role offers on average fewer than 30 hours per week, and the starting wage is $23.00 per hour. Our team members work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving detailed training and participating in a safety program to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to handling guidelines
• Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements
• Participate in inventory counts and cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership
• Provide input to warehouse management to improve processes and inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation
• Act independently and assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
