1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers flexible hours, with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products efficiently to our stores, ensuring our customers receive the highest quality goods.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
