Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. As a Full-Time Stocker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operations of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include selecting and receiving stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and cooperating effectively with team members and leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
  • Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
  • Load and unload shipments strategically.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
  • Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
  • Cooperate and interact effectively with peers and leadership.
  • Provide input for process improvements.
  • Inspect and consult on product quality and safety.
  • Operate within delegated responsibilities independently.
  • Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
  • Follow company policies and procedures accurately.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
  • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
  • Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
  • Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
