1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. The position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a competitive starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a warehouse stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, organizing merchandise, loading shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Take independent actions within the delegated area of responsibility.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow safety guidelines and ergonomic procedures.
• Collaborate with the team and adapt to changes.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare products for deliveries.
• Requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
