1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a Full-Time employee, you will work an average of 30-35 hours weekly with a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour. The position requires efficient handling of incoming stock, merchandise relocation, loading, and unloading for shipment, general cleaning, inventory counts, and effective communication with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and management effectively.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation, and escalate issues.
• Perform tasks accurately, follow procedures, and operate equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to collaborate, adapt positively to challenges, and drive for success.
• Organized, efficient, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Capability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk frequently.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
