1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a team member, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including receiving and organizing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipping.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 45 pounds and move merchandise.
• Perform various physical tasks in warehouse environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
