1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our growing team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations are crucial in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for customer satisfaction. As a part-time team member, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You will receive a starting wage of $23.75 per hour and undergo thorough training and safety programs to succeed in your role.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report safety concerns.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, and reach in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
