Job Description

We are seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member for Aldi. This is a full-time position, requiring 30-35 hours per week at a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. The primary responsibilities include efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise within the warehouse, sorting and loading merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse appearance standards. This role also involves actively participating in warehouse inventory counts, cooperating with peers and suppliers, and providing input to warehouse management to improve processes. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years of age and possess strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with the ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds. The physical requirements of this role include working in varying temperatures and safely operating powered industrial equipment.   • Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
  • Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment.
  • Participate in-taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
  • Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication.
  • Inspect products and consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
