1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position requires working an average of 30-35 hours per week and offers a starting wage of $21.50 per hour. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling store orders, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining the warehouse's appearance and safety standards. You will also be involved in inventory counts, communication with leadership, and identifying areas for process improvement. This role requires diligence, collaboration, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Strategically sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate with warehouse leadership.
• Inspect product, consult regarding quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Follow ergonomic program and safety guidelines in all job functions.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and resilience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Frequently lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and work in varying temperatures. Additionally, ability to operate powered industrial equipment is required.
