1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee working 30-35 hours per week, you will play a key role in receiving and organizing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with peers and leadership to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Handle merchandise relocation and sorting according to guidelines.
• Prepare and load merchandise for shipment, as well as unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and management to communicate effectively and suggest process improvements.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Maneuver merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
