Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is offering multiple classes throughout the 2024 calendar year for individuals interested in becoming a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) at Central Vermont Medical Center. As an LNA-In-Training participant, you will perform under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse, provide direct services to patients, and assist in unit functions, adhering to nursing department and CVMC policies and procedures.

Course Schedule

The Didactic and Clinical components of the course will run Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Upon completing the course and passing the LNA licensure exam, trainees will transition into full-time roles on their assigned units.

Education

Applicants must be high school graduates or have an equivalent qualification, or working towards it, and be at least 18 years old.

Experience

Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to follow instructions and a willingness to learn.
