2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our logistics operation, you will contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to receiving, organizing, and shipping merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and select incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Rearrange merchandise following set guidelines for efficient warehouse logistics.
• Strategically sort, load, and unload merchandise to prepare for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards through general cleaning duties.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to enhance warehouse operations.
• Inspect product quality, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for streamlined warehouse functions.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Possesses excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Strong arithmetic skills and adherence to safety guidelines.
