2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's team. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. Your responsibilities will include operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and collaborating with team members and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
• Report product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently execute tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Work independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
