Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in managing store activities, ensuring overall performance, developing action plans, and fostering team growth and development.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $25.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve operational results.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for the team.
  • Identify training opportunities for team enhancement.
  • Ensure adherence to company strategy and values.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback.
  • Participate in the interviewing process and communicate effectively.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and customer service standards are met.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age required: 18 years.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in risk management and operational tasks.
  • Prior retail management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
