Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing store operations, developing action plans to enhance performance, managing schedules, and fostering team growth and development. This is a full-time position, averaging 38 hours per week, with a starting wage of $24.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and implementing action plans to improve store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and make recommendations to maintain competitiveness.
- Provide feedback on products and contribute to the selection process.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Prior retail experience, preferably in a management role.
